Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. - We Almost Lost Detroit
(via It’s a Corporate World)
Weezer covering Radiohead’s Paranoid Android.
The Mountain Goats - “No Children” (from “Tallahassee”)
Mountain Goats coming The Fillmore next month.
“I hope you die. I hope we both die.” = best song lyrics ever.
The dream of the 90’s is alive in (no not Portland) The Manchester Orchestra. This song reminds me of the nineties for some reason or at least the early 00s. Its pretty damn catchy and you know, like moving and dark, etc. They have a new album called Simple Math. Plus, super bonus, children’s choirs are all the rage.
This is the new Washed Out - Eyes Be Closed. Viva la Chillwave bro. Now go outside and drink a tecate.

Andrew Belle - The Ladder
Nothing new here. Just a beautiful song for a beautiful day.
Liquid Summer - Diamond Messages
“I live my daydreams in music.” -Albert Einstein

This post is not a joke. Last night I really went to Foreverland: ‘An Electrifying 14 piece Tribute Band to Michael Jackson’ at Bimbos 365 Club (it helps that its 2 blocks from my apt). I have to say they were pretty damn good. Very solid horns and bonus San Francisco Conservatory string section.
The Notorious B.I.G.: Party & Bullshit
Simple Math
Manchester Orchestra
Quite the music video from indie band Manchester Orchestra. I saw their side project Bad Books a few months ago and it featured top notch comical onstage banter. They also do a mean cover of The Plan by Built To Spill.
